Te Kowhai Kindergarten - Teacher

Located in the rural community of Te Kowhai, just 15km from Hamilton, our kindergarten is nestled in a beautiful setting overlooking a gully. We offer a light spacious environment with large play areas and thoughtfully selected resources that support the interests, strengths and learning needs of our tamariki.

About the Role

You will be part of a collaborative and supportive teaching team committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and building strong, respectful relationships with tamariki and whānau.

We are looking for someone who:

• Takes a team-focused approach to achieving positive learning outcomes for tamariki
• Builds and maintains respectful, reciprocal and responsive relationships with tamariki and whānau
• Is committed, consistent and takes pride in being a supportive member of the team
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism to quality teaching and learning
• Is enthusiastic, approachable and brings energy and creativity to their teaching practice

Hours

Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm | 40 hours per week

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor of Teaching (ECE)
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Certification with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
