We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Rototuna Early Education Centre and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children every day. Due to the well-deserved promotion of one of our team members, we have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher to join our kindergarten room.

At Rototuna Early Education Centre, we believe every child deserves to feel valved, supported and inspired to learn. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive environment where strong relationships with tamariki, whānau and our team are at the heart of everything we do.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will work an 8-hour shift on a rotating roster between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm.

• Is passionate about early childhood education
• Builds strong, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues
• Communicates effectively and works collaboratively as part of a team
• Brings a positive attitude, open mindset and strong work ethic
• Is hands on, engaged and actively committed to creating meaningful learning experiences for tamariki

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor of Teaching (ECE)-  Level 7 or higher
• A current First Aid certificate
• Certification with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
