About the Opportunity
As Head Teacher, you will provide strong professional and operational leadership of the kindergarten. You will oversee enrolments and staffing, lead a collaborative and committed teaching team and build meaningful relationships with tamariki, whaanau and the wider community.
Success in this role will be supported by your ability to understand and respond to the complexities of a socially and economically diverse community. This is a rewarding and challenging position, offering the opportunity to make a genuine difference in lives of tamariki and their whaanau. Experience working in a similar environment or working with priority learners would be an advantage.
You will be working full time, 8 rostered hours per day, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm

You will also have
- A Dip Teaching Early Childhood Education (minimum qualification).
- A current Practicing Registration issued by Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
