Kay Road Early Education Centre - Teaching Assistant (Centre Support)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our team in a full time, 40 hour per week position.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and wants to make a positive difference – formal teaching qualifications are not required. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, ability to build positive relationships, and genuine enjoyment of working with children.
You’ll work alongside teachers, across a variety of age groups and learning environments, and help to create engaging, inclusive and meaningful experiences for children. No two days will be the same, so we’re looking for someone who is flexible, proactive and happy to jump in wherever they are needed.

- Assist Teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences.

About You
You don’t need a formal teaching qualification to apply. We’re looking for someone who has:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A sense of fun and the ability to engage children of different ages and abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability when priorities or environments change.
- The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
Hours
This is a full time, 40 hour per week position.
This role requires flexibility to work a variety of 8-hour shifts between 7:30am and 5:30pm to meet the needs of the service. Shift patterns may vary, and you will be expected to adapt to changing operational requirements and work across different rooms and age groups when required.
