We’re excited to be opening our brand-new Kay Road Early Education Centre in early July 2026 and we’re looking for Lead Teachers. This is your chance to help build a team culture from the ground up, influence teaching practice and create a meaningful environment for tamariki.
Purposely built and thoughtfully designed, our new centre has five spacious learning rooms and outdoor environments that encourage learning and exploration.

About the Role
As Lead Teacher, you’ll play a key role in setting high teaching standards and learning within your room. You’ll lead, inspire and support a small team, while building strong, meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
You’ll be someone who thrives on collaboration, brings positive energy to your team, and is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging and inclusive environment.

You will have a Bachelor of Education (ECE) level 7 (or equivalent), New Zealand Teaching Council certification and a current First Aid Certificate.
The Details
This is a full-time position working 8 hour shifts, between 7.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, on a shift roster basis.
