Kay Road Early Education Centre - Lead Teacher
Kay Road Early Education Centre is growing, due to our roles filling up we are ready to open our 3–4-year-old room. Are you the kind of teacher who can lead a team, inspire children, build strong family relationships, and still happily wear fairy wings at morning mat time?
We're looking for an exceptional Lead Teacher to guide our brand new 3-4 year old room. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled early childhood professional who understands that leadership isn't about being in charge, it's about bringing people together to create something extraordinary.
About the Role:
As our Lead Teacher, you'll be responsible for creating a high-quality learning environment where children, families, and teaching team members feel valued, supported, and inspired.
You'll lead curriculum development, mentor and support your team, build strong relationships with families, and ensure every child has the opportunity to flourish.
Most importantly, you'll bring enthusiasm, positivity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
As Lead Teacher, you'll oversee the daily operation of our Preschool Room, lead curriculum planning and implementation, mentor and support your teaching team, build strong relationships with families, and create a collaborative environment where children, teachers, and the wider centre community can thrive.

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor of Education (ECE) Level 7 or above, Teacher Registration, current First Aid Certificate
- Experience working with preschool aged children
- Leadership experience or the confidence to step into a leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to mentor and inspire others
- A positive, strong work ethic and passion for people
