James Gray Kindergarten - part time Teacher

At James Gray Kindergarten, we are proud  to be that ‘something extra special’ in our local community. We provide a child-centred programme based on the emerging interests of tamariki, empowering tamariki to become confident, independent learners.

The Role

Position: Part-time (24 hours per week)

Hours:

• Monday - 8:30am to 1:00pm 4.5 hours
• Tuesday - 8:30am to 1:00pm 4.5 hours
• Wednesday - 9:30am to 4:30pm 6.5 hours
• Thursday - 9:00am to 1:00pm 4 hours
• Friday – 8:30am to 1:00pm 4.5 hours

Start Date: 5^th January 2026

Qualifications and Requirements

• Qualifications and Requirements.
• Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) – Level 7 or higher.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Full certification with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
