We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Jamieson Kindergarten.

Position Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 1:00pm (4.5 hours per day)
- Total: 22.5 hours per week
What you’ll do:
- Supervise and support tamariki during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment
- Build trusting, positive relationships with tamariki and whaanau
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and child-friendly learning space
- Follow health and safety guidelines to keep everyone safe
Key Skills and Experience
- Strong communication skills and a team-orientated approach
- A positive, flexible, fun attitude, with a great sense of humour
- Ability to form meaningful connections with tamariki and whaanau
- Willingness to learn, adapt and take the initiative

No formal qualifications are required for this position, however previous experience working with children would be advantageous.
