About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated kindergarten Teacher to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with strong behaviour management skills and a proven ability to support the needs of neurodiverse tamariki in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

This is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (8 hours per day).

Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that fosters tamariki social and emotional well-being.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support individual and group needs.
• Experience in supporting neurodiverse learners, with knowledge of inclusive education strategies and the ability to adapt teaching practice to support tamariki and whaanau.
• Confident in supporting child-led learning and skilled at extending tamariki interests and ideas.
• Able to foster positive, respectful and responsive relationships with tamariki, whaanau and colleagues.

You will also have

• B Ed/Dip teaching level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration
• A current First Aid Certificate (NZQA Unit standards 6400, 6401, 6402).
