Cumberland Early Education Centre - Teacher (Qualified)

We’re entering an exciting period of growth and are seeking a permanent, full-time Teacher to join our dedicated and hardworking team. This role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7.30am and 5.30pm.
Initially, you’ll step into a Centre Support Teacher role at Cumberland Early Education Centre for approximately 7 months, after which you’ll have the opportunity to move into a permanent teaching position at one of our North Hamilton Centres.
You’ll be working alongside a variety of teams, so flexibility, enthusiasm and a team focused mindset are essential!
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for creating engaging learning environments that reflects the interests and needs of all tamariki.
- Brings a strong knowledge of Te Reo Maori, tikanga Māori and Māori world views.
- Develops inclusive programmes that embrace diverse cultural perspectives.
- Is confident in their written documentation.
- Works collaboratively to foster positive learning outcomes for all children.
- Supports the social and emotional development of tamariki.

Applicants must have:
- A Bachelor of Teaching (ECE)- Level 7 or higher
- A current First Aid certificate
- Certification with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
