Cumberland Early Education Centre - Centre Support Teacher (Qualified)

Cumberland Early Education Centre is a modern purpose-built centre located in Borman Road, Hamilton North. With five spacious rooms and expansive indoor and outdoor areas, we provide a welcoming environment where tamariki can learn, explore and grow.

We are looking for a Centre Support Teacher to join our dedicated and passionate team. This is a varied role where you will provide teaching support across the centre, working alongside different teaching teams and getting to know tamariki across our learning environments. At times, you may step into longer-term teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, documentation and curriculum delivery when permanent teachers are absent.

No two days will be the same, so flexibility, enthusiasm and a positive team focused attitude are essential!

Essential requirements

• A Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) Level 7 or higher
• A current First Aid Certificate
• Certification with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand

This is a full-time position – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working 8-hour shifts between 7:30am and 5:30pm.
