We are looking for a super organised Administrator to join our team at Bellmont Kindergarten. You will provide essential administrative support, enabling the team to deliver high-quality education to our tamariki.

About the Role:

As the Administrator, you will be the go-to person for keeping our systems operating smoothly and contribute to providing a positive environment for staff, tamariki and whaanau.

This is a permanent position working a total of 15 hours per week over a minimum of four days. The actual days and hours of work can be discussed with the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and efficient administration support to meet operational requirements of the kindergarten.
  • Manage and maintain the Discover Childcare Management programme (database) efficiently.
  • Create and maintain a professional and welcoming environment within the kindergarten.
  • Support teaching staff, so they can focus on delivering quality early childhood education.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative role, with a proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Reliable, highly organised, with attention to detail and capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with computer software, including database systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and confidential approach.
